The humans behind VidaSpace. The personalities behind the polish. The creatives, the thinkers, the doers, and everything in between. Meet the VidaSpacers is your behind-the-scenes pass to what makes us tick. Because VidaSpace isn’t just built on products or projects – it’s built on people. And it’s those individual stories, passions, and quirks that come together to define who we are.
Time to meet the marketing minds behind it all: The Content Crew – Ahlia & Liana, read their rapid-fire Q&A.

Ahlia has been with VidaSpace since 2017 and has worn many hats, from Design Consultant to Brand + Marketing Manager. Anyone who knows her knows Ahlia brings bold ideas and plenty of colour to her role. Aside from her deep passion for interior design and the VidaSpace brand, Ahlia lives for her three cats and travelling the world with her husband
My favourite thing about VidaSpace is and always has been how daring we’re willing to be. Whether it’s an unexpected showroom activation or an ambitious collaboration, we’ll never shy away from the chance to be bold.
My personal interior style is dopamine décor, so naturally I’m attracted to our vibrant coloured products like ALT™ SolidVelvet Terracotta, Mahogany, and DesignForm Blush Lime.
I’ve visited 32 countries so far, and we’ve returned to some of our favourites like Egypt, Turkey and Japan several times.
Bianca in Ellerslie, Auckland. The goat’s cheese dumplings are to die for.
Life’s short & it’s all the same in 100 years.
We’ve just bought our dream home in the bush (our very own treehouse), so settling in and making it our own.
Unless you’re flipping, stop worrying about resale value and cohesiveness. Do whatever sparks joy for you. The market’s fickle anyway, and it’s your home – you don’t need to design it for anyone else.

Liana is our clever in-house Marketing Coordinator. Passionate about photography, cooking, and DIY projects, Liana brings her talent and creativity to her role at VidaSpace. Liana’s favourite part about her work is seeing the photography of all the amazing projects we have worked on. When she’s not at work, you can find Liana spending time with her family, and in the kitchen experimenting with her own recipes.
The people and the banter. There’s always someone around to make you laugh, even when things get a little chaotic
MasterOak Green and SolidVelvet Forest. Mostly because they are green and that’s my favourite colour.
I love making up my own recipes and rarely follow one exactly as written.
I’ve never had an energy drink in my life. And don’t plan on starting now.
Would have to be Master Kong in Wellington, can’t go wrong with dumplings or Asian food.
Don’t take life too seriously - nobody gets out alive.
Exploring a foreign city, preferably with a camera in hand. Or spending time with the niblings.
We could be here for a while if I listed everything! My current obsessions include collecting one-of-a-kind ceramic coffee mugs, anything and everything green, and experimenting with my own recipes in the kitchen with the eventual goal of writing my own cookbook.

Before mechanised milling standardised timber into uniform widths and lengths, flooring was cut and laid according to what each log would yield, a board as wide as the trunk allowed, as long as the timber ran clean.
