A Day in Rotorua - Celebrating 10 Years of VidaSpace

Last week, the full VidaSpace team came together in Rotorua for a belated but well-deserved celebration, marking ten years since the very beginning of VidaSpace. It was a chance to pause, connect, and reflect on how far we’ve come over the past decade.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Under clear blue skies, the team took the gondola up Mount Ngongotahā, soaking in the stunning views across Rotorua and the surrounding lakes before racing down the luge track. Friendly competition, plenty of laughter, and a few surprise speedsters made for a perfect start to the day.

In the afternoon, we ventured into the iconic Redwoods Forest to explore the TreeWalk, a stunning journey through the towering canopy, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. For the thrill-seekers among us, the Altitude TreeWalk offered an even greater challenge, suspended 25 metres above the forest floor. It was the ultimate exercise in getting comfortable being uncomfortable.

Adding to the sense of occasion, the team sported matching 10-year anniversary rugby jerseys, a small but meaningful nod to the camaraderie and shared effort that’s carried VidaSpace through its first decade.

The day was a fantastic reminder of what makes VidaSpace unique, a team united by curiosity, creativity, and the willingness to take on new challenges. As we celebrated ten years of innovation and growth, it was also a moment to look ahead to the next decade of pushing boundaries and continuing to elevate interior spaces across New Zealand.
