On 19.02.26 we welcomed our community to our Parnell showroom to mark a defining moment in the VidaSpace story: the launch of ALT™. After 20 months of research, development and global exploration, ALT™ by VidaSpace represents our considered entry into the decorative panel market. We unveiled a collection of engineered surfaces designed to challenge expectations and expand what’s possible in interior design. Manufactured in Belgium and shaped by candid conversations with our A&D community, ALT™ brings together three distinct ranges, MasterOak, SolidVelvet and DesignForm - each engineered for performance while elevating material expression.
To launch ALT™, we moved beyond traditional displays. Surrounded by our valued clients, collaborators and friends from across the architecture and design community, the evening became a shared celebration of innovation and possibility. Towering sculptural forms rising over five metres high anchored the space, with select pieces suspended from the walls, seeming to defy gravity. Curves, intricate detailing and monolithic forms pushed the boundaries of how decorative panels are typically used. The sculptures were expertly constructed and installed by Dimension Shopfitters, with the monoliths designed in collaboration with Scott Fitzsimons Studio. The result was an immersive statement of intent, a physical expression of ALT’s ability to challenge the ordinary and redefine application possibilities.
We are incredibly excited for this new era of VidaSpace. Broadening our product offering beyond our New Zealand-leading timber flooring and veneer panels allows us to better support ambitious, future-focused design across multiple surface categories. ALT™ complements our existing portfolio while opening entirely new creative opportunities, and we cannot wait to see how it is specified and utilised in projects across the country.
