The humans behind VidaSpace. The personalities behind the polish. The creatives, the thinkers, the doers, and everything in between.
Meet the VidaSpacers is your behind-the-scenes pass to what makes us tick. Because VidaSpace isn’t just built on products or projects – it’s built on people. And it’s those individual stories, passions, and quirks that come together to define who we are.
Up next: The Project Pilots - Aaron, Candayce & Riley - answering quick-fire questions, off the cuff and unfiltered.

Based in beautiful Hastings, Riley joined VidaSpace in 2025 specialising in panel products and interior fitouts. He’s passionate about building strong relationships, problem-solving, and seeing projects come to life. Riley loves sport and staying active – you’ll never catch him sitting still for too long!
Oscar Ono – it’s bold, unique, and unlike anything else in the market.
I’m obsessed with Formula 1 and will happily wake up at ridiculous hours to watch races live. Also, I love to cook!
Up early, gym session / fitness, good breakfast, a round of golf, then spending time with friends and family over good food and drinks.
The growth of ALT™ by VidaSpace and the opportunities it’s going to open up across the market.
It’s a consistent obsession, but golf.
Randomly, a lot of synthwave – retro ‘80s inspired synths – neon / night-drive vibes.
Curved windows need to make a comeback.

Candayce has been a VidaSpacer since 2023, offering 6-star service to our clients and supporting the internal project sales team. An adrenaline-seeker at heart, when she isn’t at work you can usually find Candayce in the ocean, wakeboarding, or sunbathing at the beach - often with a cocktail in hand!
Would have to be Shinnoki Pure Walnut or ALT™ SolidVelvet Mahogany – such a mood. They’re basically the whole vibe of my Pinterest board.
I have a slight (not-so-secret) obsession with coconut… and pickles (not together).
Hey Coastie is always a cute place to go, and if I were to visit a nice restaurant in town, it would be Kisa.
Trust your gut – it knows what it’s doing.
Blue skies, an early morning beach walk with an iced coffee, a swim (or two), and a couple of sneaky piña coladas in the afternoon.
Bold and unexpected colour combos that somehow just work.
Literally everything and anything but Bruno Mars always hits a vibe.

Aaron was our very first employee and has been a loyal VidaSpacer for over a decade now. Aaron’s role involves looking after projects and key stakeholders nationwide, and he’s particularly passionate about commercial projects. When he’s not at work, you can find Aaron biking in the hills or over a bonfire at the beach.
Solving problems, helping our clients achieve their goals for long-lasting, meaningful spaces, and working with a team passionate about offering great service and products!
This changes all the time… VidaPlank Peat Parquet today – rich, warm colour and can be used to make many interesting patterns – I want to lay it in a basket weave pattern.
Back in the day I toured playing saxophone in a band called ‘Phat Willies Drop’. I still bring out the saxophone once in a while.
Any café serving up Supreme coffee in Wellington & El Matador – meat cooked over the fire? Can’t beat it.
A freshly brewed coffee, a hike or bike up some hills, and a hazy pale ale with friends to cap it off.
Sunset runs on the beach, and tequila + ginger beer.
Plenty of funk and R&B groups that have a brass section.
