Curved to Perfection.

This was an architectural new build for our clients who relocated from Auckland to New Plymouth with their family. Our material palette is a feminine combination of elegant Calacatta Viola marble, VidaSpace’s Querkus Allegro veneer custom stained cabinetry, and micro-cement, along with gentle curves. A curved brick wall partially encloses the scullery and wall sconces flank the curved integrated rangehood unit. The custom-made ILVE freestanding range at 1500mm wide sits comfortably in the generous space, and the veneer cabinetry features a negative detail for interest and elegance. A large skylight above allows ample light and playful shadows. The open scullery features an integrated refrigerator/freezer and Blum Space Tower unit, with curved shelving that wraps back around the wall, a secondary sink and dish drawer service this side of the kitchen which is perfect for breakfast dishes or overflow when entertaining. Chrome tapware by Perrin & Rowe was selected for their timeless aesthetic, along with complementing the freestanding range and grey micro-cement.
