The humans behind VidaSpace. The personalities behind the polish. The creatives, the thinkers, the doers, and everything in between.
Meet the VidaSpacers is your behind-the-scenes pass to what makes us tick. Because VidaSpace isn’t just built on products or projects – it’s built on people. And it’s those individual stories, passions, and quirks that come together to define who we are.
Introducing the people who keep everything moving: The Operations Orchestra - Dennis, Brad & Paul with their quick-fire Q&A, straight from the source.

Dennis is constantly working on his feet to ensure that our clients’ orders get out seamlessly, whilst keeping the warehouse team entertained. Dennis hails from the Kapiti Coast, his iwi is Ngāti Tūwharetoa, and when he’s not at work you can find him at the pub giving life lessons around the pool table or out on the golf course.
Seeing the warehouse evolve through genius ideas and implementation.
I was born in the Chinese year of the Boar.
Two Fat Chefs in Kapiti.
Never touch an electric fence.
Golfing in the morning sun, then chilling at the beach.
The crossword in the local rag, I do at least one a week.
"Tie that Binds" by Drake.

From visiting forestry blocks on sourcing trips as a small boy, to making all manner of toys out of scraps of wood in the garage, it’s safe to say timber is in Brad’s DNA. Always organised, with head down and productivity up, Brad’s favourite part of the job is working with our wonderful team of VidaSpacers.
Solving challenges.
Outland Bronco – can’t go past a floor that has a story within it, and looks perfect being imperfect.
I’m left-handed.
Taking a road trip to a beautiful spot and cooking up a meal to enjoy in the midst of it
Becoming a dad (and mildly freaking out about it at the same time!)
I’m always obsessed with food. I just enjoy cooking up anything (and I actually also enjoy doing the dishes afterward too!)

Paul’s work experience includes everything from dairy farming to truck driving, but it is his 30+ years in the warehouse industry that landed him in the VidaSpace HQ. Paul brings a consistently positive, can-do attitude to his role, and when he’s not working you can find him out fishing or competing against mates playing darts and pool.
Shinnoki Pure Walnut because it’s so versatile and looks good in every environment.
I never walk under powerlines – I'll cross the road to avoid them.
Star Fish Kapiti. I’ve been eating fish & chips for 60 years, and they’re the best!
“Don't put your wishbone where your backbone should be.” My Dad had this quote on a plaque on the wall, and it shaped me and my work ethic. I passed the philosophy on to my son too.
Beating my mates at pool, darts, snooker, and backgammon.
Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ram Jam, and Christina Aguilera.

Last week VidaSpace had the honour of hosting the Auckland launch of Cape to Bluff Vol. 2 - the second volume in Simon Devitt and Andrea Stevens' acclaimed series documenting residential architecture across Aotearoa New Zealand.
