"Originally a 1940s weatherboard home with a patchwork of past additions, this seaside property was ready for a fresh chapter. The design brief focused on resolving the disjointed floorplan, reworking each space to enhance flow and functionality. While blue emerged as a unifying theme—reflecting the coastal setting—we intentionally moved away from a typical beach-house aesthetic. Instead, we introduced unexpected elements, layered textures, and bold colour to bring a sense of playful sophistication.

VidaPlank was selected to honour a long-standing love and dream for parquet flooring, and for its point of difference. The warmth of the Mudbrick tied together the varied materials throughout the home, creating cohesion and contrast in equal measure, whilst elevating the overall aesthetic."
